Let me just come right out and say that Nature’s Rx is a nice little shop with a lot of potential.

They have a good assortment of shopping options. They have Buds, Keef, an assortment of edibles and a nice little collection of accessories. Their store offers a small waiting area with 6 chairs, water and magazines. The Nature’s Rx staff seems kind friendly and personable. The store is located in a safe neighborhood shopping area that offers plenty of parking.

I spent a good deal of time in this shop. I felt comfortable with the staff (even though I was getting closterphobic from the tiny service area) and even told some jokes with them. I bought quite a few items. First of all I bought a gram of Bubba Kush and a 1/2-gram of Kush Kief. I also bought a medium sized bong (I had been needing a new one since my last bong broke) and since they had a nice selection for as little as $25 I went ahead and bought one. I also got a new pimped out grinder and cherry flavored rolling papers all for $50.

All of the products were properly wrapped and labeled. I felt comfortable that I was dealing with a legitimate business. I in no way felt the shop or its employees acted shady in any way. Here is a photograph of the container and labeling they use.

As I had said I spent a good deal of time in the shop one on one with the bud tender (the place is so small inside that they can not service more than one customer at a time. When I left I noticed that of the 6 waiting chairs 4 of them were occupied. I had been in there for close to 30 minutes, had these customers been outside waiting in the waiting area while I was in side b.s.-ing?

If I was to pick things apart (and since that is what a review is for) I would have to start with the bud and concentrate selection. Although they did offer a variety of Sativa and Indica strains, (8 strains ranging from 100% Sativa to purely Indica, and a combination of the two) they didn’t offer ANY Hash! Not one strain, no Goo, no Wax, no Hash?

They did offer one mixed strain of Kief. It was explained to me that the Kief was a mixture of over 4 strains of Kush. So as I said before I bought a 1/2 gram of the Kush Kief. It wasn’t the best looking stuff, it almost had a bitter-potpourri-ish smell to it and it was very harsh to smoke (as extra dust on a bowl of Bubba Kush). However, I mush say it was some very potent concentrate.

Price works both for and against this cannabis club. They offer a great deal on single grams. Everything in stock is $20 a gram. They also offer a reasonable price on 1/8-eights and 1/4-quarters. So if you want to try a few different strains its cheap enough to buy a few single grams. They also offer a special half 1/8-eighth for $25 on all strains priced at $60 an 1/8-eighth or less. As I had said before their pricing works for and against them and their customer know what I mean when they ask for a 1/2-half or whole ounce. There is no break in price for half’s or ounces. If you want a 1/2-half ounce you have to do quick math in your head and multiply a 1/4-quarter times 2. If you want an ounce well then it gets real expensive, once again you have to do some mental math to come up with a price based on multiplying four 1/4-quarters.

In conclusion I like the $25-twenty five dollar, half 1/8-eighths, I like the location, and the staff. I also like the selection of accessories and edibles.

However,

Points go against Nature’s Rx for small service area, limited concentrate selection, lack of Hash and for no price/list or menu/board
