I have to start off by saying, if you have not already visited Downtown Kush Lounge, get in your car and go! I have so many good things to say about this shop that I don’t even know where to begin. So I guess I better just start from the beginning.

The truth is Downtown Kush Lounge was not even on my radar. It was late Sunday afternoon and I was in downtown San Diego. I felt like hitting up a new dispensary. So I used my phone, found a new spot and rolled on over.  It was Sunday and the dispensary I had planned on hitting up was closed. SO I called up my girlfriend and had her look up a totally new spot. She got on the internet while I waited on the phone. She came back to the phone and said, “I found a new place that is not far from where you are now that seems to have some good comments about it. The name is Downtown Kush Lounge.” I got the directions from her and headed down the street. It was Sunday so parking in downtown is about as good as it is going to get. I was lucky, I found a free spot about a block over. I parked and walked over to the building where Downtown Kush Lounge is located and I took a picture. As you can see from the picture it is a nice looking building. There is no outside advertising and so no one driving or walking by would have any clue this place was a dispensary unless they already knew.

I walked inside and was immediately surprised to see how big this place was on the inside. Not just that, but also how well furnished and decorated it was. The store is two floors. You enter into the main floor waiting area. The waiting area is very comfortable. There are couches, restrooms and big screen televisions to keep accompanying guests of patients relaxed while they wait. The waiting area also has a reception area with a very attractive receptionist. As a matter of fact, now that I think about it. Everyone that worked there, even the managers seemed to all be very attractive people. Must be a requirement. It was obviously not a requirement to be an attractive client. Because they let me in.

The verification process was quick and painless. In a few sort minutes I was on my way past the ATM machine, and past the locked loft hallway door leading upstairs. One of the first things you can’t help but notice is the number of strains Downtown Kush Lounge has available. They have over 30 strains to choose from. They have about 12 different strains of hash. They have kief, and even offer what they call “!nfus!on” or Infusion with is a mixture of kush buds rolled in wet hash and left to dry. This shit is the bomb!

Did I mention they have edibles? I have always made a point to pick up an edible to two from each of the dispensaries I visit. Edibles are one of those things I have not spent as much time with because of a lack of selection. I mean every one has brownies or cookies or some candy. They are all the same, right? Well if thats what you think, come check out this selection. With a wide range of edibles and drinks, I am sure Downtown Kush Lounge has something you will find worth checking out.

The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Did I mention they were good looking? Believe it or not, I was not paid for this review. I got lucky, I went with my camera. Since they have internet on site, they were able to check out the site and allowed me to snap some photos. You can see more photos at the bottom of this review. I wish they had allowed me to take some photos of the menu board, buds, clones, edibles, drinks, oils, pretty people and whatever else I felt like. but I am sure we can all understand why they didn’t. I did take some photos of some meds once I got home. You can see those below also.

In conclusion I love this place. I am sure I will be a frequent visitor of Downtown Kush Lounge
